It was a Friday night to remember as the Des Moines Lincoln Rails triumphed over rivals, Des Moines East, securing a 26-8victory in the first-ever Battle for SE 14th St. Travel Trophy. The game showcased exceptional performances by the Rails, with standout moments on both offense and defense.

The Rails' running back duo, Javon Sanders and Fisher Wilson, were the stars of the show. They tore through East's defense, collectively amassing an astonishing 344 rushing yards and scoring four touchdowns. Their speed and determination left the crowd in awe, driving the Rails' offense forward.

Junior quarterback Jackson Lamb was a picture of composure, efficiently orchestrating the passing game. Lamb completed an impressive 8 out of 10 passes for 104 yards, showcasing his ability to make crucial throws when it counted.
